An exciting project has come up in an emerging and ambitious financial company based in London for 6 months.Contract-Linux Systems Admin. Unix
Linux Systems Administrator required, on a contract basis for a prestigious Education Institute.
My client is looking for Linux systems Admin, to come and maintain the servers and deal with any issues that occur.
Support Linux desktop users of a large user base. Application services will need to be maintained.
This will purely be a Linux, Unix role. The main objective of this role will be to maintain the Linux servers and the entire infrastructure.
The successful candidate will be working in a team of 6, which will be to your advantage as it will give you the experience of developing more skills and doing a bit of everything.
Essential Skills:
Linux, Unix
Solid background in Linux System Administration both Debian and Redhat.
DNS/DHCP
Apache web servers
Xen app
Data analytics - Developing a Hadoop cluster.
