Providing interim cover you will support the existing infrastructure, responding to queries, requests from server teams and troubleshooting.
As Linux Systems Administrator you will hit the ground running and work with the existing system team to undertake project work as required. You will have intermediate scripting skills with BASH, Perl and MySQL, as well as previous experience using Kickstart and working with Apache.
It is essential to have strong experience with Redhat Linux, along with the contractor mentality to hit the ground running from day one. You will set up servers, undertake security and bug fixing, define user permissions and ticket management. You must also be a confident communicator able to engage team members at all levels.

Previous education sector experience is desirable but not essential.
