QA test, Documentation, Test Scripts, TestI am currently looking for an QA test engineer to join a key client of mine on an 18 month contract. You will be working on the test of electronic boards down to component level. You will also be required to write documentation for the product.

Location: Oxfordshire
Duration: 18 months
Rates: £180 - £240 p/d
You will be working for an industry leading company who are currently working on the development of industry leading systems for various markets.
You will be required to have experience with QA testing of firmware.. The creation of automation test scripts would be advantageous.
Skills Profile:
- Familiarity with testing Electronic Development Boards and prototype designs.
- Performing complex tasks using off-the shelf electronics equipment (cameras, PCs, networking and storage devices)
- PC configuration and appreciation of networking technologies.
- Familiarity with electronic test equipment such as oscilloscopes, function generators and multimeters etc.
- Concise documentation.
Experience in the following areas would be advantageous:
- Lower level scripted testing in C/C++
- Automation/scripting skills (Preferably Python)
- Knowledge of defect tracking software such as Jira
