SQL DBA - £45-50K- London - SQL SERVER DBAA SQL Database Administrator (DBA) is required for a leading Legal firm. They are generating huge waves within their industry and pull many strings in forming today's business world. They are growing year on year and are highly admired by their peers and are considered highly influential players. As a SQL DBA you will be responsible for:
- Installation and configuration of SQL Server 2012 and above, Data migration and upgrades;
- Housekeeping, Maintenance and Operational procedures;
- SQL Replication
- Log and DB shipping and DB Mirroring;
The DBA will have:
- Experience of SQL Server 2008R2 or above.
- Hands on relational database experience.
- Experience of database design, tuning, query optimisation, monitoring, auditing, backup, and high availability solutions such as database mirroring and clustering and capacity planning.
- Experience with SQL indexes, DTS and SSIS IN A DBA environment.
- SSRS experience.
- A sound knowledge of T-SQL is required.

- VMWare
- SAN Technologies
- Data Warehousing
- Microsoft Certified
