Role: Embedded Software Engineer - medical experienceLocation: Reading
Rate: £35 - £40 per hour
Duration: 3 months initially
This position has been created by the head of technology who is working on an exciting health-care project.
The role will require that you support software development activities for product development designed in accordance with the appropriate standards to meet the user/market requirements as specified.
Providing design specifications, supporting documentation and test documents and exercising tests.

* Technical competency
* Full life-cycle experience
* Design experience
* C, C++, C#
* Visual C++ (for GUI work)
* Working to IEC standards - 62304
* Engineering or related technical degree
* developing safety critical software to BS EN 61508
* Medical Device Software Development is preferred
* Desirable: Familiarity with SW requirements of medical devices

- experiance of working with ISO: 9001: 2000 and ISO13485
