For a project at our bank client here in Zurich we are looking for aSenior Business Analyst for Trade Reporting (2735)
This role is set in a high profile regulatory compliance project. This role will offer the successful candidate the opportunity to gain extensive experience of all aspects of derivatives regulatory reporting. Working as part of a highly motivated and growing team of international regulatory professionals. Regulatory Trade Reporting is our client’s PM &WM project that is part of the Global OTC Derivatives Program (GODP). It has the goal to deliver an integrated regulatory trade reporting platform for the PB & WM’s global derivatives trading business.The project is based in Zurich, but has global scope.
Key Responsibilities
Analysis, definition and control of the regulatory trade reporting requirements of our client’s organization
Define target business processes and quality controls for trade reporting
Coordination of the overall project delivery to ensure that requirements are addressed
Provide business analysis support and coordinate project delivery to ensure that the needs of demanding business stakeholders are met
Working jointly with an IT and business organizations to implement an effective business solution
Job Qualifications
Essential:
Business analyst experience with proven ability to analyze and document complex business requirements
Experience in documenting business/operational processes/procedures/flow charts and defining Operating Models and Key Performance Indicators for new Business Functions
Experience in Microsoft Office scripting (i.e. excel Macros; Pivot tables)
Banking/financial services background – ideally (but not exclusively) in the area of middle office/reconciliation
Excellent spoken and written English
Desired:
Recent regulatory project experience, ideally in the trade reporting area (esp. EMIR)
Technical/IT background advantageous (esp. reconciliation solutions, i.e. Intellimatch)
Familiarity with financial derivatives (listed and OTC, especially FX and rates)
German an advantage, but not essential
