Description
I am looking for a SQL Server Developer- (Fixed Income) to join an asset management firm based in London. The role will require you to come on board and help them with a new project within their business.From a Fixed Income perspective you will need to know the following:
Diff between Bonds & Equities
Diff between classifying owners of such securities (eg. Bondholder & Shareholder)
What relationship does Price & Yield have
What are CDS's
How is an IRS priced?
What's par for an IRS?
From an SQL perspective you will need to know a minimum of the following:
Table variables - what are they
Schema binding - discuss
Deadlocking - what's that
What are the different types of Joins in queries
What is partitioning
Key skills:
Strong SQL Server experience
Fixed Income knowledge
Asset Management experience will be preferred.
Computer Science degree is a nice to have
Contract Role: (neg) per day
Location- London
Initially 6 months (with scope to extend)
