Description
My client is looking for an infrastructure engineer to join there team on a 6 month contract in Birmingham.In this role you will be required to:
Resolve incidents and service requests escalated from support
Work with vendors to provide continual evolution of the technical platform
Implement solutions which meet the business needs
Design, document and implement technical solutions
Be exposed to a wide range of technology
Work closely with our development team
It is important that you have experience of the following:
-VMware
-Microsoft Windows Server Systems
-Microsoft Active Directory (DNS/DHCPs/GPOs etc.)
-Netapp Storage
-A minimum of 2 years experience within the Public Sector
Ideally you will have previously worked in an infrastructure or IT support environment with exposure to programing technologies (Deployment tools, SQL, C#)
