Junior Front End Developer is required for an urgent initial 3 month contract based about 15 minutes outside of Birmingham.

If interested this role would then have the opportunity to convert to a permanent position if you enjoyed working here and wanted to prolong your stay.

With the support of a more Senior Contractor, this role is to deliver the best customer journey and experience for the clients websites using analytical tools to measure the effectiveness of the clients content and "recommend and implement" changes based on these findings.

The role will require building and maintaining digital marketing material and developing web pages and microsites to improve conversion. It will also require the content manager to work with business stakeholders to understand their needs as well as having a well-founded understanding of the business area.

During this role you will be involved in the rebuild of existing web pages and microsites; manage enhancements to the sites and manage/own the content update process. You will also generate, analyse and report on data from the web providing regular and ad hoc reporting making recommendations and implement those.
Occasionally situations may arise that require the post holder to perform other duties or tasks as may be reasonably requested by the business.

The key responsibilities of this position include;

- To produce analytical reports to understand the customer journey and implement change requirements when necessary
- Working with the trading team to get updates and promotions live on the website in a structured, timely and effective manner.
- Managing website content to ensure our websites meet and exceed industry standards for conversion
- Monitoring feedback and identifying areas of customer experience improvements and then implementing changes where appropriate.
- Managing change requirements to websites. Uploading content for new product launches.
- Working in conjunction with the digital marketing department, ensure our websites are maximised for SEO
- To plan and manage the workload, delivery and allocation of digital content through internal and external service providers, including agencies, web designers, web testers and content designers
- Implementing best practice navigation within our sites to enhance the customer funnelling journey
- Required to meet all business requirements deadlines

In addition, all employees are expected to work within the terms of their contract of employment and adhere to Society policies and procedures.

Key requirements for this position include;

- Have competent skills with the Adobe suite, Creative Cloud, Balsamiq (or equivalents).
- Understand responsive design
- Being competent with HTML5 and CCS
- Have excellent creative, development and analytical skills
- The ability to adopt and adhere to set processes and procedures
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience in Content Management Systems and Adobe Creative Suite software is a requirement, along with a passion for the online world.
- Experience in using analytical software and Content management systems.
- Strong decision making skills and the ability to make recommendations where necessary

This role will be paid at approximately £120/day, can telephone interview this week and start on Monday.
