Description
We are a distributed design/build/operate agency with broad and deep experience: frog design, Airbnb microsites, innovative iPad apps pre-loaded in the Apple retail store, implementing badass enterprise websites from fuseproject designs, stealth mode health care startups, numerous scaled web applications, and so on.
You are a seasoned design veteran (salt, pepper, maybe a little cayenne) with agency experience (for the client facing part), freelance chops (for the "sitting by yourself coming up with amazing shit" part), and that design fluency and at-easedness (not a word) that comes from years in the design field. Did we say design enough times? Designdesigndesigndesign. There.
The current mission, should you choose to accept it, is to build an amazing website based on a brand language from a top shelf international design firm. Our information architect will be working with you to come up with an fantastic website, where you will be working on concepts and doing motion/detailed website design to build an amazing website for a mobile startup. The client has high expectations and we will exceed those expectations. Alidocious.
The obligatory bulleted list:
* Demonstrated experience in making people go 'holy crap! I freaking love that!' (and perhaps some other choice words)
* A portfolio that will knock us off our seats (or into them, one of us has a standing desk because we aren't afraid of jumping on the bandwagon)
* Strong experience working directly with clients
* High comfort level working with distributed teams

The initial project will last 8-10 weeks during which we need you full time!
Just to clarify, we are not looking for a:
* Front end developer
* Wordpress developer
* Tuna fish sandwich (except sometimes, around lunchtime)
Footnote: ?? Have umbrella, will travel? Perhaps you're our gal/guy. Seriously though, we don't need Mary Poppins, just someone who has that old white magic to bring amazing experiences to life (yeah, right, "just"). Extra credit if the hills are alive!
