Description

My FTSE100 client is seeking a DevOps who will work on Cloud deployment design, implementation, automation and troubleshooting, as well as being responsible for the maintenance and support of some internal tools. . Work on a proof of concept project for a critical application that is migrating to the Cloud soon

* Upgrade some of our local tools to their latest releases -- at this time an upgrade to a local Jira and Confluence system is planned
Additionally, as the DevOps team responds to the need of the Business additional projects may be added to the work pipeline at any time, in which case the successful candidate will work as one of the team and assist those new projects in any way that the team can. They will also need to work closely with the relevant development teams to ensure that this takes place.

. Network Security concepts
. Automated deployments via Cloud Formation and Puppet

1. Identify areas of improvement in both automation and self-healing
2. Plan, deliver and document the above improvements
3. Assist the design and delivery of a specific proof-of-concept Cloud migration
4. Work with the relevant application development teams on new, approved Cloud projects
5. Deploy later versions of internal tools as per local requirements
