JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Change manager will be in charge of Change Management activities (such as: Change strategy, Stakeholder Engagement plans, On boarding sessions, Change impact assessment and action plan, Business readiness tracking, Leadership engagement, Communication plan, awareness campaigns, Training plans, completion tracking and evaluation, Lessons Learned sessions, Writing Executive communications, Creating/updating new webpages, SharePoint site development and maintenance, End user communications (emails/notifications) and building materials for F2F engagements) for specific projects in Upstream SOM.

1. Guide Change Mitigate Risk: getting the right plans and processes in place.
- Carry out Change Effectiveness Surveys
- Carry out risk assessment and mitigation actions
2. Mobilize Leaders: Getting leaders ready to lead the change by equipping them to be able to navigate their staff through the change journey.
- Lead workshops and meetings to ensure knowledge and commitment build
- Create a leadership development program ensuring project success and helping leaders be effective through the change period (ie support leaders with communication and engagement skill building program)
3. Align the Organization: Ensuring that we build the right organisation by mapping roles and designing a new organisational structure.
- Manage regional organizational design
- Coordinate knowledge build program in coordination with deployment team for local managers.
- Implement organization changes
4. Prepare the Workforce: Equipping people to work in new ways by providing training in relevant areas.
- Link with the various teams to ensure aligned and robust training plan
- Provide guidance for trainers and their activities and monitor the training roll-out
- Support the various teams to resource and effectively train the trainers
- Monitor the localization of training materials
- Develop model and Monitor training effectiveness
5. Communicate Engage with internal external Stakeholders
- Develop stakeholder map and communications plan
- Carry out appropriate communication tools activities to ensure that staff, customers, suppliers are adequately informed
- Encourage and collect feedback from staff, monitor satisfaction level pro-actively and provide feedback
- Ongoing sensing and enhancement
6. Establish an overview of change impact, Integrate and assess the collective change impacts of new processes, policies, business models and/or organization change, and assess the readiness of own business for implementation of all these changes.
7. Monitor impact of completed change activities and identify change-barriers and issues and develop and implement adequate actions/solutions.
8. Engaging and communicating with focal points and implementation managers to ensure both understanding of process and effective participation; being flexible whilst meeting performance reporting requirements.
9. Communicating to senior stakeholders the progress and issues to ensure effective intervention and resolution.
10. Managing the scope in terms of number of initiatives, prioritization required as well as assisting the on-going operations of the business.
