Description:- The main function of an Infrastructure/Systems Administrator - to install, configure, and support Citrix environments and specialized utility programs including integration tasks for in-house developed systems and/or purchased software solutions
- A typical Citrix administrator is responsible for monitoring the Citrix environment to ensure availability to all system users and perform necessary maintenance and issue resolution.
- Maintain and administer Citrix environments including computer hardware, systems software, applications software, and all configurations.
- Perform disaster recovery operations.
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve hardware, software, or other network and system problems, and replace defective components when necessary on/off-shift and during weekends.
- Configure, monitor and maintain virus protection software.
- Work with vendors on integration of purchased application solutions.
- Verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time as well as well as being a collaborative team member.
- Ability to identify, interpret and evaluate system and network requirements.
- Strong ability to troubleshoot issues and make system changes as needed to resolve issue.
- Fully knowledgeable of computer hardware and software and its related infrastructure components and/or operating environment identified in the assignment requirements: Citrix XenApp and PVS, BMC Remedy, Windows Server 2008.

- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent training required.
- 3-4 years experience required.
