We are currently looking for an experienced Capacity Planner to work with our major blue chip client located in Newcastle, UK. Our client is a multi billion dollar world wide IT service provider.

Job description
The planner will work with the Architects to understand the customers projected growth profile and manage models (sophisticated excel spreadsheets) to forecast infrastructure capability required to support that growth. The client use a tool developed over several years and training will be provided to bring the Capacity Planner up to speed
The profile we are looking for is someone with an experience in infrastructure planning, performance analysis and ideally capacity planning.
The planner will work within a team including the Architect and the overall capacity lead and work with application partners to understand the growth levers and constraints in the application, which customer volumetrics drive scale of each application element, the results of Performance Testing etc to feed into the models and then validate the model to ensure it is correctly reporting.
