Description
Maximo Developer - Warrington - 3 months - rate £20/£25 per hour
This position is a high level technical expert responsible for the analysis, design, development, testing, and deployment of new software applications in a client environment. The incumbent has thorough knowledge of multiple subject areas or disciplines; understands how own area integrates with and impacts other areas; and is building understanding of business trends and industry issues and challenges.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Under general direction, works as a technical expert in design development, coding, testing, and debugging new software applications or significant enhancements to existing software.
- Works with clients to define and document requirements and with the delivery team to develop, test, implement and sustain solutions.
- Works with technical staff to understand problems with software and to develop specifications to resolve them.
- Resolves client feedback and responds to suggestions for improvements and enhancements.
- Acts as technical or task leader on projects.
- Assists in training less experienced software development staff.
- Works in all phases of software development projects.
Job Specifications & Scope of Responsibility:
Education, Experience, & Certifications:
BA/BS degree in math, computer science or engineering or equivalent experience. - preferred but not essential for the right candidate
- 5 to 7 years experience preferred.
