A position is available for a Statistician/Senior Statistician within the R&D team in the area of diabetes.My client designs, develops and manufactures leading-edge glucose monitoring systems and test strips for use in both home and hospital settings.
The opportunity is based in our purpose-built facility in Wst Oxfordshire.
Specific duties will include:
- Working with a Senior Statistician to analyse experiments and review past data to improve products and processes
- Clinical study analysis, including writing and verifying reports
- As a Statistician you will, complete data analysis and reporting activities, and highlight relevant issues.
- The role will involve collaborating with different people within the department.
- BSc (or equivalent) in Statistics or Mathematics, preference will be given to candidates with some industry experience and/or some working knowledge of SAS.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and team-working skills, with the ability to communicate results to both technical and non-technical colleagues, in addition to your detailed knowledge of statistical methods and data analysis.
- Must also have an organised approach to your work, with excellent attention to detail.
