My NHS Client is looking for a 8b CAMHS Service manager for an NHS trust in London.The contract length is 6 months, for £350-£400 per day, taking over a member of staff who is due to leave.
They are looking for someone with experience in
- CAMHS
- Line managing health aspects - tiers 1-3
- Working in the integrated health team and local authority
- Budget responsibility
- Service Reviews
- Working with multiple multidisciplinary teams in a CAMHS service.
- Project Management
- Preparing for CQC inspections
CAMHS service management experience is a essential
The main responsibilities will be:
- To be the lead nurse for the borough / service line (dependant of qualifications)
- To ensure effective performance management and professional and clinical leadership of the workforce
- To deliver effective leadership and direction to the Team Managers in the boroughs
- To ensure services are cost effective and delivered within budget
- To lead change management in the implementation of service development strategies
- To create a culture in which innovative ideas and strategies can flourish and provide vision and inspiration to enable staff to deliver care more effectively.
- To identify and participate in the tendering for new business opportunities
- To deliver robust financial management in line with Borough / Service Line, Divisional and
Trust targets, including the realistic Cost Improvement Programmes
- To ensure services meet care quality and performance management standards
- To represent the Borough / Service Line at external meetings with stakeholders
