Description

My Client is a major organisation urgently looking for a SQL DBA to join their City of London offices, as a SQL DBA you will report to the Head of Data.

This a great opportunity for a technically talented SQL Server DBA who is keen to work with some of the latest SQL technologies. You will be passionate about the latest technologies in SQL Server and Database Administration. You work in a team that currently boasts some of the best and brightest talent in SQL and BI.

You'll build on your strengths, develop new skills, and be part of the core team that expands presence across the globe.

Responsibilities:
Full life cycle development across architecture, design, development, testing, performance tuning and optimisation of in-house technology and products.

Skills and Attributes:
  • SQL Server Database Administration
  • Experience with SQL Always On is a big advantage
  • Disaster Recovery
  • Replication and Mirroring
  • SQL Server performance tuning and optimisation
  • Experience with SSIS, SSRS and SSAS


Experience:
  • 1-2 years of SQL server DBA experience
  • Strong communications skills
  • Desire to work in high energy start-up environment
  • Positive, people oriented and energetic
  • Motivated to work hard in pursuit of common team goals
  • Highly analytical, creative, and innovative in solving problems
