Job Purpose:
The SharePoint developer role will be responsible for ensuring our internally developed business critical applications continue to service the business as it grows. This will include configuration and development of an onsite SharePoint 2013 environment, ensuring it meets business requirements
Key Responsibilities:
·Maintain, support and administer the internal business communication systems and infrastructure
·Design, develop and deploy technical solutions to complex customer requirements and needs through direct engagement with the business
·Management, monitoring, tuning and re-organisation of SharePoint instances and their associated databases to ensure maximum efficiency
·Work in a team of developers focusing on the development and enhancement of business critical systems following a focused methodology with attention to business continuity and continued application support
·Provide end-user support, guidance and training on the use of SharePoint and developed tools
Microsoft Office SharePoint server technologies and architecture:
Essentials:
Windows Server, SQL Server, IIS, MOSS 2013, Visual Studio
oSharePoint Designer 2013, Web technologies and languages, C#, ASP.Net
CSS, HTML, XML/CAML/XSL, JavaScript, LINQ
Desirable:
Experience of applications related to internal newsletters, Windows Workflow Foundation 4 and Workflow Manager, App development architecture
CSOM, Remote Event Receivers, Solution development architecture, SSOM
