IFS Specialist - Denmark

You will be part of the ERP Project team at company headquarters in Kgs. Lyngby, and this is an operational job in which you will play an active role, bear part of the responsibility to ensure that the implementation of the new ERP platform is a success. The position will require travel activity in the range of 60 - 80 days/year.

Your principal tasks will be to:

Support the implementation of ERP in accordance with the agreed time schedule, budget and resources
Set up and implement ERP within accounting, Planning, forecasting, budgeting and control reporting, financial reporting, Financial Consolidation, Currency & Intercompany Adjustments, period-end, etc.
Ensure best practices for ERP are being implemented
Define the solution in order to fulfil the business requirements from headquarters as well as the local subsidiaries
As a business advisor, works closely prioritizing process improvements with an eye on generating greater customer value
Assesses process-related methodologies, tools, techniques and educational offerings for use and adoption within the enterprise
Make recommendations to process stakeholders regarding the correct approach to achieve process improvement objectives. These may include business process outsourcing, application development and adopting business process management practices
Analyze, create and document business processes and workflow
Evaluate, prioritize and document change requests and develop system documentation
Test the current solution and future releases
Provide end-user training and create relevant training material
Provide guidance and support to the Team and business regarding ERP, processing or procedural questions. Act as escalation/point of contact for our customers and the Team for ERP finance related issues.
Assist business Finance team with information and documentation requests. Ensure controls are in place to minimize risk;
Update documentation as needed
Contribute to and support a Team environment. Provide leadership in order to achieve department goals; foster a positive work environment that encourages open communications, mutual respect and the exchange of ideas.

About you

Ideal candidate should have min 5 years of experience. You are good at building relationships, and you are a strong communicator accustomed to communicating with people from different cultures. You take an analytical and structured approach, and possess very good business knowledge, which enables you to turn business requirements into IT solutions.

You are expected to have following competencies:

BS in Accounting/Finance/Business or relevant work experience required
In depth expertise in Finance processes
In depth expertise with IFS or equivalent ERP system
Should have demonstrated hands-on in delivery experience of large, complex and global engagements involving multi-currency, multi-location, multi-org complexities. Proven track record of identifying target state architecture & business benefits, architecting solutions presenting solution options, implementing the solution and achieve target metrics/KPIs
Should have solution design capabilities to reengineer business processes, sound knowledge of process modelling, ERP and packaged application fit/gap analysis addressing critical business challenging typical to the industry or regional process nuances.
Working knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite of products
Ability to learn new tasks quickly; demonstrate flexibility when presented with change
Lead and support a Team environment
Strong communication skills in English, self-driven, motivated, brings value to every interaction
Industry knowledge within Oil & Gas an advantage
