Job Purpose
To manage the production of Treasury Plans and Forecasts and assist with the delivery of the wider Treasury Finance team's management and statutory reporting
Accountabilities
- Manage the delivery of Treasury plans and forecasts, including review/challenge of submissions and ensuring overall Treasury results are robust and well understood/explained
- Liaise with key planning stakeholders in Central planning, other business areas and Treasury Front Office
- Production of monthly Risks and Opportunities to Treasury's forecasts
- Assist with monthly explanations of variances of actual results compared to forecast
- Assist with and provide cover for other Treasury Finance daily and monthly reporting tasks, including:
- Daily P&Ls (Accrual and Mark to Market) and issue resolution
- production of Treasury monthly MI results/performance pack
- analytical review
- production of monthly Treasury Balance Sheet Attestation (Integrity)
- Completion of Treasury statutory reporting via GDRS
- Running of transfer pricing models for interest and liquidity transfer pricing
- Ensure controls and procedures for areas of responsibility are updated and documented
- Undertake ad hoc project work that impacts area
Key Capabilities
- Qualified accountant with 3+ years experience
- Finance background with experience of Treasury/Derivative products
- Planning/Forecasting experience
- Flexible approach
- Well organised and able to manage relationships with diverse stakeholders
- Analytical & numerate - ability to rapidly absorb, review & refine new concepts
- Excellent problem solving skills - able to produce options at short notice based on rapidly changing scenarios
- Strong communication skills (written/oral) - the ability to explain complex information clearly
- Hyperion experience preferred
- Experienced user of SAP/GDRS would be a bonus
- Knowledge of Summit/Treasury Oracle/Business Objects would be a bonus
