Description
Overview:[1] System Test department is responsible for validating Windows and Android wireless devices, accessories and commodities for the enterprise market.
[2] Tester is expected to execute assigned test cases, log issues found and work with the development engineers to bring the issues found to a close.
[3] Tester is also expected to create/revise setup and test procedures.
[4] Tester is expected to research and learn new tools/applications; to figure out how to install, configure, run and use them.
Responsibilities:
[1] Assist System Test engineers in the validation of new and existing products/platforms.
[2] Perform system tests from written and/or verbal instructions.
[3] Collect data and publish test reports according to departmental standards.
[4] Aide in the investigation of possible causes of problems.
[5] Perform Solution tests for certain customers which includes Mobile Device Management (MDM) and VoIP testing
[6] Test case/plan development and revisions.
[7] Ordering equipment
[8] Attending and participating in meetings, taking notes and following up as needed.
Qualifications:
[1] A.S. plus 4 years experience or Technical School plus 6 years related experience
[2] Working knowledge of networks and networking principles
[3] Hands-on experience with wireless networks: WI-FI, Bluetooth, WAN
[4] Familiarity with operation of PDA devices including configuration, synchronization and applications
[5] Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc)
[6] Working knowledge of the Android and Windows Mobile operating systems
