Senior RoR Developer (Ruby on Rails)
Location: Denmark
Duration: 6-12 months
My client is urgently seeking a Senior RoR Developer (Ruby on Rails) for a critical project in Denmark. If you are interested, please send your CV to (see below)
You will be someone who is focused on working with RoR
You will be helping the client make the transition towards using microservices architecture for their site which reaches nearly 50 domains worldwide with millions of users.
We expect you will be an avid contributor to the Ruby on Rails community and should be able to show off some of your contributions and work. Github, Bitbucket or other profiles are good to see.
Desired Experience
* 4+ years of experience with Ruby, and Rails
* ideally, experience with breaking a Rails monolith apart into smaller services (SOA/microservices)
* fluent in English
* Main application written in Ruby on Rails
* MySQL, ElasticSearch, Redis, Memcache, Resque, Sidekick
* REST APIs, JSON
* Front End stack: Haml, Sass/Compass, CoffeeScript, RequireJS, Backbone, Jasmine
* heavy focus on automated testing and TDD (RSpec, Capybara)
* deployment with Capistrano, server provisioning with Chef
* moving towards SOA/microservice architecture
