Marketing Manager - Broadcasting - Digital - Stakeholder Management - Multi-media - Social Media

Our well known Broadcasting Company is seeking a Marketing manager to support the Head of Marketing in developing and implementing the creative, brand and marketing strategy.

Key responsibilities:

  • Establish effective working relationships with key senior stakeholders to persuade them to deliver Marketing activity across platforms (eg radio, television, online, iPTV and mobile)
  • Develop individual brands' acquisition strategies within in the context of overall Brand Strategy working with colleagues to develop campaign media strategies and agree appropriate media channels and press and public relations opportunities.
  • Manage the development of integrated and cost effective multi-media marketing campaigns across a coherent set of brands to deliver creative excellence against campaign briefs, audience reach targets whilst ensuring effective translation of brand understanding, high standards of brand guardianship and clarity of positioning.

Key Skills and Responsibilities:

  • Substantial experience of managing and developing major brands in a complex business or broadcast environment
  • A full understanding of brand strategy, brand life cycle management, marketing techniques, and knowledge of qualitative and quantitative research techniques
  • Leading the way in new digital and social media campaigns with specific emphasis on TV and radio, within broadcasting or an industry with a similar brand facing business
  • Managing delivery from of in-house and third party creative resources
  • An impressive record of creative achievement and managing and driving creative innovation from team members
  • A full understanding of editorial and other compliance policies
  • Understanding of Brands, and knowledge of the broadcasting industry and a demonstrable interest in its output
  • Experience of influencing and managing a wide range of stakeholders in a complex organisation
