Location: Bristol
To supports the OEIC GL Workstream lead and Programme leadership team with the improvement of consolidation and reporting systems, process and controls, including planning, analysis, reconciliations and documentation . This is finance BA/Project Accountant role.
- Experience of analysing reporting requirements for Asset Data with Open Ended Investment Collectives (OEICs)
- Specific experience of handling Asset data for Management/Statutory/Regulatory Reporting processes
- Exposure to Investment Accounting and Reporting processes within a Banking/Insurance organisation
- Carrying out root cause analysis for data issues, including knowledge of using SQL to query the Data Warehouse
- Knowledge of GL Nominal structures and Chart of Accounts within a Banking/Insurance organisation
- Experience of implementing IT projects with multiple stakeholder teams across different locations
- Experience of operating in a Design Authority - creating Requirements Specifications, verifying Business Design and validating the developed solution
- Strong analytical, organization and communication skills and must work well within teams
- Escalation of Risks, Issues, Assumptions and Dependencies to Work Stream Lead
- Proficient in the use of MS Office as required.
- Familiar with Oracle General ledger Chart of accounts -Essential
- Qualified Accountant (ACCA or equivalent) of Finance SME - Essential
- Significant Experience in Funds Accounting and Investment reporting projects (Funds SME essential)
- Business Analyst, Project management and organizational skills highly desirable (example Prince II)
- Excellent knowledge of OEIC funds and the many components of a NAV.
