Senior Front End Developer - Birmingham - £350 - £400I am currently looking for a Senior Front End Web Developer for a contract position based in Birmingham. My client is a leading marketing company who work with huge end clients.
Technical Skills Required:
- Designing and developing complex HTML / JavaScript applications, taking an object-oriented approach to JavaScript application development
- Experience with HTML and JavaScript Frameworks such as Bootstrap and jQuery
- Experience developing (or knowledge of writing) custom JavaScript and/or jQueryplugins
- CSS, LESS, SASS
- Experience with Version Control, such as Git or Subversion
Beneficial Skills:
- PHP
- SQL databases
- JavaScript Unit Testing Tools
- AngularJS
- Use of PaaS, such as Google App Engine, Heroku or Elastic Beanstalk
- GoogleAPIs
Key Requirements
- At least 7 years experience within frontend development
- Be a true Front-End craftsman
- Great experience and understanding of Agile
- Must Have proven experience in building high-performance websites and web based applications available across different devices and browsers (IE 8 upwards)
- Email / newsletter build - Desirable
- Designed Patterns - Desirable
- Computer Science degree - Desirable
- Experimented with CoffeScript, Less, WebSockets and Node.js. - Desirable
