Description
I am working with a client in Birmingham who is recruiting for a SQL DBAResponsibilities:
- You will be involved with deployment planning and implementation of the database for new customers as well as supporting any technical issues
- monitor database schedules; using SSIS you check progress and fault find,
monitor performance of the customer's databases, this will include analysing performance related matters, and will have good knowledge of Advanced SQL.
- improve and maintain SSIS packages and possibly be involved in some SQL coding.
- monitor backups of databases and ensure proper DR procedures are in place.
- supporting customers not only in the UK but potentially other countries including France, Dubai, Spain and Germany.
Essential:
- Bug Fixing and back ups
- Strong Database Administration skills
- Analysis skills / Google Analytics
- Solid MySQL
- SSIS
