Our client is looking for a Solution Architect with experience in infrastructure to be part of the IT Architecture team.

Function
Technical context:
- to - protect- the entreprise architecture of the IT-landscape, specifically for the technological aspect
- to maintain the Corporate IT Architecture-framework
- to elaborate the technology roadmap and elaborate the transformationplan
- to set the IT-standards: technological choices, validate IT-tools, develoment framework, naming conventions etc.
- establishing high-level architecture with alternatives for the architecture of a new IT-solution
- optimalising It-processes
- elaborate business cases to support investment decisions
Business context:
- the working area stretches from the strategy and roadmap IT, through projects and programs of the IT strategic plan, to developments of infrastructures and IT-standards
The work will be situated in the provincial entities. The planning of the service delivery will be supported by an exploitation planningscycle. This cycle will be supported by a combination of the plannings package Hstus and self-developed applications.
It's necessary to make new steps in further development of an integrated and automated exploitation cycle, to improve the quality and the efficiency of the service. A plan for the future has to be made to define the processes and ICT-solutions who iwll translate the exploitation planning to an operational dayplannig.
This dayplanning will then be ready for deployment and will be sent out to the drivers, vehicles and clients.
Requirements
Must have skills:
- Knowledge of PC hardware platforms
- Knowledge of Server hardware platforms
- Knowledge of virtualisation platforms (Vmware), practical experience with design and installations
- Knowledge of Solaris/Windows/Sue Linux server platform, Oracle DB environment, idap etc.
- Storage concepts: SAN, NAS, archiving, back up
- 4 years experience in entreprise architecture
Languages:
- Fluently Dutch and English
