Description
My East Midlands based client are looking to take on a Senior BI developer in 4-6 weeks on an initial 6 month contract.You will be assisting with the implementation and maintenance of SAP BW solutions globally for this client.
Responsibilities will include data model build and amendments, strategic project delivery, testing, documentation, change requests and day to day operational support.
You will be responsible for the design, configuration, implementation and support of SAP BI solutions and take ownership of all phases of the project life cycle. You will also take responsibility of all developments in SAP BI (i.e. modelling, reporting extraction, transformation, load, etc.).
Essential key skills:
* End-to-end experience of multiple SAP BW/BI implementations
* A deep understanding of all the key components of SAP BI 7.3, i.e:
* Extraction
* Data modelling & optimization
* Data loading
* An understanding of essential ECC6 processes and functions
* Proficient at writing new, and amending existing, ABAP code in extractors, transformations and exits
* Excellent MS Excel skills
* Working knowledge of the BObj (rel 4.x) suite of tools
Desirable skills:
* Consulting experience
* Training on SAP HANA
* A good understanding of MS Access
* Deep exposure to one or more of the following SAP ECC components:
* FI
* MM
* Sales and Distribution
* Procurement
