Description
Our client is looking for a SW Front End Engineer for a permanent role based in Italy.As Front End Developer your main responsibility is for the production, modification and maintenance of websites and web applications including user interfaces. You will be asked to design (side by side with the back end engineers) and implement the coolest web application focusing on the client-side and the user interfaces with state-of-art web technology (HTML5, CSS3, Javascript, Websocket).
You will also be in charge to maintain a high awareness of industry issues and trends, particularly regarding the emerging technologies, and keep team members updated, with a view to incorporating these in future projects and staying ahead of the market; you will become the company digital specialist.
Essential Requirements:
- Excellent HTML5, CSS3 knowledge and programming skills
- Exceptional Javascript programming skills, deep knowledge of, at least, one of these frameworks:
o AngularJS
o EmberJS
o MeteorJS
o NodeJS
- Deep knowledge of Websocket mechanism is considered a plus, basic knowledge is mandatory
- Experienced with the web programming reactive paradigm
- Experience with JQuery
- Excellent knowledge of at least one (more is better) Javascript-UI framework for interface design as Bootstrap, Semantic-UI, Famo.us, etc..1
- Ability to work and communicate fluently in English
Valuable plus are considered:
- Experienced with D3.js or Sigma.js or AmCharts.js or similar
- Experienced with CartoDB or Mapbox or Google Maps or similar
