Graduate calibre with minimum 4 years proven experience & Oracle Certified Professional (OCP), Oracle 9i or higher desired
- SQL - Mandatory
- Backup and Recovery - Mandatory
- Alerting and Monitoring - Mandatory
- Windows Scripting - Mandatory
- Unix Scripting - Desirable
Oracle Database 9i release 2 or higher - Mandatory
Windows 2000 Server or higher - Mandatory
Oracle DB Security hardening - Mandatory
High-availability solutions: stand-by DBs and/or Clustering (Oracle RAC and/or Oracle Failsafe) - Mandatory
Centralised Backup Software (eg Legato, Veritas) installation, configuration and execution - Desirable
UNIX in general. Solaris 8 or higher in particular - Desirable
Oracle Enterprise Manager tools and RMAN - Desirable
TOAD (min. V8.x) - Desirable
Oracle 10g (or higher) Application Server - Desirable
Web Server software like Apache or IIS - Desirable
