Description
Summary:- Procurement professional with at least 5 years of experience with bidding and contracting for a wide range of services including both manual trades and professional services, as well as for construction projects.
- Candidates will work collaboratively with internal customers and other procurement professionals.
- Position may require some purchasing of materials.
Qualifications:
- Candidates must have strong negotiation skills, understand contract terms and risk mitigation, have the ability to multi-task, the ability to communicate and be responsive to internal customer requirements.
- Candidates must be decisive, driven by deadlines, and be willing to challenge ideas and provide suggestions which are in the best interests of the company.
- Candidate must have SAP experience.
- Material purchases knowledge.
- Strong negotiation skills, along with the ability to interface with customers.
- Forward thinker, deadline driven.
- Online auction tools and E-commerce a plus.
- Bachelors degree is required.
- Knowledge of contract terms and conditions

- Requesting competitive bids and proposals using an electronic sourcing tool
