An exciting contract opportunity has arisen for an experienced Systems Requirements Manager to work for a leading Automotive Tier 1. Successful candidates will have proven experience of Requirements Management, Capture and Traceability, DOORS and DXL

Job Description:

The Role
We are looking for an experienced requirements engineer to provide key support in the capture, development and management of radar requirements, as well as the management and traceability of customer requirements. The ideal candidate will be happy liaising with customers, influencing engineers on multiple sites in multiple countries as well as inputting and managing data in the requirements tool.

What you'll do
- Work closely with DAS engineers, sales, and production engineers on multiple sites
- Manage the product requirements consistently across projects, following the DAS requirements process
- Input, collate and analyse customer requirements
- Maintain traceability between customer requirements at the system and software level
- Develop core and application-specific requirements where gaps exist between core and customer requirements
- Liaise with the customer to discuss specific issues on requirements
- Manage traceability across the product development cycle
- Provide support to the wider team in the use of DOORs.

What we are looking for

Essential:
- Degree in Systems, Software, Electronics Engineering or similar discipline
- 3-5 years experience in requirements management in automotive/aerospace/railway industries
- Experience with DOORS and working to a defined requirements management process.
- Experience with DXL Scripting
- Excellent English speaking, reading and writing skills with experience in technical writing and developing ECU specifications
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail and good problem solving skills.
- Good understanding of the 'V' cycle and change management: experienced in ISO26262 & A-SPICE

Desirable:
- Experience of working with driver assistance systems such as Lane Departure Warning, Forward Collision Warning and Lane Keeping Assistance systems
- Experience of working in an international environment and willingness to travel abroad occasionally
