Description

One of our prestigious clients based in Evere, Belgium is looking for an experienced solutions architect for a 12 month contract (with possible yearly extensions).
The work will focus on the design of the service layer components, the client applications (Portal) and the web services. Some limited software development activities could be undertaken to support prototypes building for validation. In the relevant area of expertise, contribute to various technical and architecture documents.

Skills:
At least 5 years' experience as software architect of large mission critical systems,
At least 3 years' experience as software developer in large software development projects,

Advanced competences and experience in requirements analysis and use case modelling,
Strong architecture and design skills,
Very good interpersonal skills to communicate with the stakeholders (users, architects, developers, testers, support teams ),
Very good technical writing and presentation skills,

Knowledge of one or more of the following domains is an advantage:
Flight planning, Flow management, Airspace information

Additionally this profile shall comprise solid and proven architectural experience in several of the following domains:
Safety critical systems, high availability systems,
Real time, mission critical systems,
Data architecture, data modelling, DB tools, DB design (Oracle, SQL), storage, backup,
Object oriented methodology, design patterns,
Middleware and integration tools (ESB, EAI, Web services, ),
Web technologies like web servers, application servers (WebLogic), collaboration tools, content management systems, web services.

Any French language skill will also be favoured.
