The SQL Developer / DBA with strong data skills, understanding and knowledge of data WILL LOVE THIS JOB!
SQL Developer / DBA is currently required for a leading organisation based in Hampshire. The right specialist will ideally be a developer (60%) with DBA skills (40%) and will primarily be involved in the writing of T-SQL to create database objects; procedures, functions, tables, and views on MS SQL Server. Also further involvement in creating SSIS packages for ETL.
It's currently a small team of 6 with new projects coming in so development & career progression opportunities are MASSIVE!
To be considered for this role - you will need to have at least 5 years working with SQL Server 2008 and 2012 MS BI Stack, experience of enterprise level Data Warehousing, experience in an agile development lifecycle and significant experience and training in the Microsoft SQL Server 2008 or 2012 software, especially SSIS & T-SQL.
Knowledge
- A strong knowledge of T-SQL and database fundamentals.
- A strong knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server BI Stack (2012).
- A clear understanding of Business Intelligence concepts (OLTP, OLAP, Data Mining, etc.).
