My client based near Chester is a world leader in the development and manufacture of high-tech medical devices.
I am currently recruiting an experienced Embedded Software Engineer for a 6 month contract to develop add-on's including the capability for the product to communicate on a network and testing and debugging of the code.
The product itself is quite complex, with a built in user interface and various controls and functionality including a series of programme schedules and timers. They are in the latter stages of the product where they are looking to develop add-ons and integrate the product to be able to communicate with other systems over a network.
Skills/Requirements:
- Strong C / Embedded C coding
- Knowledge of Windows CE operating system
- Prior experience or willingness to learn to develop in an Agile / Waterfall environment
- Fluency in OOD / Object Orientated Design
- Knowledge of other RTOS such as FreeRTOS or Embedded Linux would be desirable
- Knowledge in Continuous Integration and Test Automation is an advantage
- C++ coding skills desirable
