Senior Oracle DBA x2
I am URGENTLY seeking x2 Senior Oracle DBA's for a very large project in Africa.
Role - Senior Oracle DBA
Location - Various counties in Africa
Start Date - August 2015
Contract - 9-12 Months - renewable
JOB DESCRIPTION
Participate on Projects and Expert Services assignments in Oracle core technology area and/or participate on consulting projects.
The Services to be delivered include:
Installation & Configuration of Oracle products
System Upgrades and Migrations
Technical Architecture and Configuration
Security
High availability, Disaster Recovery
Performance and system management
Grid Architecture
Engineered Systems
RESPONSIBILITIES
Participate on Projects and Oracle Expert for products and solutions based on 12c, 12cRAC, OEM and Engineered systems
Architect in the definition, design of Expert Services projects
Manage small size projects
Participate on proposals, presentations, workshops and trainings
Provide the Production systems assurance
REQUIREMENTS
Oracle technology (mainly Database and options) knowledge and experience
Unix and Linux OS background
Data security background
Experiences in technical architecture of DB solutions (high availability, performance and system management, backup and recovery solutions)
Excellent communication and presentation skills
7 years plus Oracle Database experience
OPTIONALLY
Project management skills advantage
Database consolidation experience
