Description
MQ Administrator on Z/os, Copley or EdinburghMQ Administrator is required by my client based within a prestigious banking client based in Copley or Edinburgh dependant on candidates location. This established bank has a growing demand for a specialist MQ Administrator on Z/os and some experience with MQ Distributed, they are looking for more people to join this delivery project.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a Websphere MQ Administrator to work within a very strong team that is growing in size this year; you will have the opportunity to conduct workshops with stakeholders to understand their requirements and translate in to scenarios and define the data analysis steps.
With interviews taking place immediately, this role requires someone who understands Websphere MQ on Z/os and is fully capable of understanding the associated technologies and the related standards and policies used to govern these technologies. You will also need strong experience in using Websphere MQ on AIX, Linux and windows platforms.
This is a contract position with the rates up to £450pd
Essential skills:
- IBM MQ Administration on Z/os, AIX and windows is essential for this role due to the project delivery
- MQ administration and knowledge of technical and operational processes used to deploy, support
- Diagnostic skills and ability to analyse technical information from multiple sources
- Experience in delivering complex projects
