Solutions Architect
Solution Architect required to work as a technical lead for a global end user firm in New Jersey. The candidate will work to ensure the technical deployment of systems to member firms in a global environment.
Duties:
*Work on multiple project streams
*Serve as a technology lead with extensive knowledge of Microsoft technology (.NET, Web Service, SQL Server, SharePoint etc.)
*Make sure the developments of technology are up to the required standard
*Help manage the direction of development resources
*Actively research new technologies and products which would benefit the project
*Provide technical support to during the different project phases
*Responsible for the technical design/architecture for mid to large scale projects
*Provide strong technical consultation throughout all the project development phases
*Design and develop proof of concepts in order to test and prove designs
*Work closely and in alignment with the firms Enterprise Architect
*Communicate technical design and approach to developers whilst providing information and guidance to support organizations
Skills Required:
*10 years' experience with IT
*5 years' proven experience as a Technical Lead architecting enterprise systems (strong emphasis on globally available applications)
*Extensive knowledge of the Microsoft platform (.NET, Web Service, SQL Server, SharePoint etc.)
*Knowledge of and experience with Mobile Applications
*In-depth knowledge of integration pattern and web services
*Strong knowledge of security authentications
*Knowledge of any CRM system (example Microsoft Dynamics) is preferable but not mandatory
*Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
*The ability to document and communicate technical designs to business, developers and support staff
*Work with geographically diverse teams across different time zones and cultures with minimal supervision
*Willingness to travel internationally when required
*Proven ability integrating new technologies into work practices on an ongoing basis
