Preparation of the mission under the co-ordination of the lead enterprise architect. Implementation of the new SQL infrastructure and its supporting processes. Review of the risk control matrices and building of the implementation testing strategies and design. Performance of the fieldwork and technical documentation. Clearance with the agreed stakeholders and documentation of the findings.
Combining cleared findings, writing of the draft issues and implementing according to the same methodology. In support to the lead architect, clearance of the draft issues with the agreed stakeholders.
Supporting the lead architect in finalizing the reporting.
Responsibilities:
Understand the existing IT infrastructure landscape and designing the new infrastructure.
Align with the internal stakeholders (operations, solution architects, project managers, data center management, network teams, security) on the definition, development and evolution of the environment.
Define the future infrastructure, translate this in a technical roadmap and present it to the enterprise architect, senior management and internal stakeholders.
Work in close collaboration with the IT program/project manager and enterprise architect on delivering technical architecture solutions for their projects.
Work closely with IT operations in order to align with the rapidly changing operational requirements.
Initiate, defend and implement/migrate technical projects.
Act as a technical design expert to the different operational teams.
Technical skills:
Demonstrate expert and hands on experience in Microsoft SQL and related tooling.
It encompasses the detailed design, configurations, settings and related processes to manage it.
Have a business risk and IT security mind-set.
Expert knowledge of Microsoft products, with hands-on implementation skills.
Personal skills:
Expected to be autonomous.
Fluent in Dutch and English.
Proven experience with large and public organizations.
