QA Analyst
The QA analyst will be a member of a team responsible for applications that support the operations & reinsurance accounting functions. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work in an agile environment, and collaborate closely with business users at all levels.
Responsibilities
Including but not limited to:
Plan, design, develop and execute tests for internally developed software or customized off-the-shelf technology products.
Establish not just the functional correctness of a system but also that its performance, reliability, scalability and security attributes meet the requirements.
Engage with both business and technical owners to bring the appropriate level of rigor to the development and enhancement of systems.
The successful candidate will have:
At least 5 years of QA experience in functional, regression, and performance testing.
Third level Certification in relevant discipline or equivalent experience.
ISEB Certification (Foundation or Practitioner).
Good working knowledge of financial services, with specific reinsurance experience a plus.
Experience working in an agile team that delivers early & often.
Strong understanding of manual & automated QA methodologies.
Proven ability to work cooperatively and effectively with all members of small to large project teams including UAT application teams.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
