Senior .NET Developer with (NATO security clearance)

Activities to be performed:

a) Designs, codes, tests, corrects and documents large and/or complex programs and program modifications from supplied specifications using agreed standards and tools, to achieve a well-engineered result.

b)Takes part in reviews of own work and leads reviews of colleagues' work.

c) Specifically focuses on the development of Microsoft .NET Applications utilizing a range of techniques and technologies.

d) Design and develop C++, C# or VB .NET classes in the Visual Studio .NET development framework

e) Full knowledge of the most current .NET Framework Class Libraries

f) Develop fine or coarse-grained .NET components

g) Document the design and implementation using UML-based Case Tools

Work location: Nato, Mons (Belgium).

The Consultant(s) must possess and present valid proof of a nationally issued and NATO acceptable security clearance to the minimum level of NATO Secret.

 Requested skills, competencies and toolset knowledge:

  • Knowledge of the .NET Framework (versions 3.0-4.5) and Framework Class Libraries is essential.
  • Strong knowledge of data design, including the fundamentals of relational and non-relational database design and implementation.
  • Minimum of 5 years industry experience developing with PostGIS extenstions for PostgreSQL.
  • Minimum of 2 years industry experience developing with Microsoft Visual C++ programming language.
  • Minimum of 2 years industry experience developing with Microsoft Visual C# programming language and ASP.NET.
  • Experience creating and understanding large-scale, object-oriented system designs.
  • Familiarity with administration and manipulation of PostgreSQL relational databases.
