Senior COBOL Developer (IBM Mainframe) - Burnley - Circa £55000z/OS, z/VM, IBM Mainframe, COBOL, REXX, JCL, DB2, Lotus Notes
2 x Senior COBOL Developers are needed to join my client, an engineering company who are working some on some interesting products. You will be working with a skilled development function within an IBM Mainframe environment.
A salary is on offer for this position of up to £55,000 depending on experience.
The successful candidate will be working with portal development and front and back-end programming. It is likely that you should be scientifically minded and passionate about software development within a mainframe environment.
Other skills necessary for this role are:
z/OS, z/VM, Linux
Desirable skills include:
Rexx, JCL, DB2, Lotus Notes
