We are looking for an Accountant with experience of ERP migrations to join a market-leading Aerospace and Defence company for a position based in Basingstoke.
Role:
To support the MIE UK ERP migration team (for Finance, Commercial and Purchasing) to ensure successful migration from Oracle to the CODA/IBS ERP system in November 2015. The candidate will work with the multi-functional migration team to ensure integrity of data, migration activities achieved to schedule and processes & procedures are updated to reflect any new working practices.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Experienced CIMA/ACCA/ACA/AAT part qualified/qualified accountant.
Responsibilities:
- To support data cleanse activities, identifying accounts to be closed, actions to be taken to close them and to implement these actions working with multi-functional teams [eg Finance, Commercial, Purchasing, Information Services and Operations].
- To support the migration team in reviewing, analysing, preparing and reconciling data for the migration
- To support the team in the User Acceptance Testing phase
- To support the team in the actual data migration process at the point of cut-over to ensure integrity of the data
- To support the update or creation and subsequent testing and implementation of any new processes & procedures identified as part of the migration activity to ensure that effective controls are maintained. This task should also ensure compliance with Company, Group and Statutory financial policies, regulations and standards are maintained by working with the Finance, Commercial and Purchasing teams.
