Description
My client is looking for an experienced, qualified electrical engineer, who has held similar roles in a design capacity. You should have significant experience in the building services sector and ideally within the public sector. You will ideally have extensive up to date knowledge of relevant Building regulations and standards for electrical installations.Duties will include:
* The full design and specification of compliant electrical building services including power distribution, lighting, alarm, data/telecommunications, telemetry systems, etc.
* Lighting design using industry standard software and methods.
* Liaising with Clients, developing the relevant aspects of Client Briefs, working collaboratively with other professions within the Practice and also with Contractors/Suppliers.
* Producing industry standard tender packages, undertaking analysis of tenders, monitoring and management of cost, quality and timescales.
* Undertaking site surveys, site visits and associated inspections according to standard project/industry procedures or as the project requires.
