Role: Electronics/Product Development Engineer

Rate; £40 -£45 per hour

Type: Contract

Location: Kent

The Company:

This client understands the many and complex safety issues of mobile applications, resulting in a flexible product range offering safety solutions for the automotive industry.

They are constantly researching the latest and developing technologies to see how they can be used to improve their product range. Many of their products were initially introduced to the U.K, Europe and even the world.

The Role:

This positions I have available with this client is at product level and requires a good understanding of requirement development & capture, electronic & mechanical architecture and design, software & hardware interaction, product verification and validation.

You will be leading the way in safety standards and will need a strong desire to work in electronics engineering.

Key Skills:

* 8 years practical experience with electronics and mechanical product development

* Extensive knowledge of DSP and video signal processing (LCD interface and panel design)

* Knowledge of camera optics

* Computer applications

* PCB level troubleshooting and product diagnostics

*RS232/I2C/SPI

* Analogue and Digital Experience
