Data Modeller Financial Services, Contract, Brighton
A Data Modeller is required for a financial services company based in Brighton.
This is a hands on role which will require a strategic data modeller to come on-board to work with a new team that is being set up within the IT department of this strong investment bank. This team is being set up to look after strategic risk across the various banking functions. As the data modeller you will be looking after both the Logical and Physical Data Modelling as you will be facing off directly to senior level members.
As the data modeller you will be required to hit the ground running and be self starting, this team requires the experience of someone who has developed detailed data models and data dictionaries to meet very complex requirements.
The ideal candidate will have come from a development background and have moved into more of a data modelling position and will have knowledge of building out financial services systems.
This is a 6 month rolling contract at market rate.
Essential Skills:
- Strong experience of developing data models and data dictionaries
- Extensive Teradata knowledge
- Strong knowledge of other database systems (DB2 and Oracle)
- Financial services knowledge would be ideal
