Senior Information Analyst
My client is looking for a Senior Information/data Analyst to join on a contract basis in their Dublin office.
Contract: 12 months
Location: Ireland, Dublin
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a computer science, engineering or information technology discipline. An advanced degree and related accreditations a plus.
- Extensive experience working in the IT function, most of those preferably in a Programmer/Data Analyst role.
- Substantial experience performing Datamodelling, data base design activities.
- Substantial experience supporting the IT Infrastructure organization.
- Experience working across globally distributed culturally diverse, Matrix organizations.
- Experience in working with ITSM systems, CMDBs, IT Performance and Availability systems and Application Portfolio Management systems.
- Hands-on programming experience with BI tools and/or data warehouse solutions is preferred.
- Experience in designing and implementing information solutions.
- Experience as a Data/Information Analyst is highly desirable.
- ITIL v3 foundation or greater a requirement
- Experience of working with clients in a consulting role

- Agility to learn and apply new system solutions to improve the Service Management of IT at the Enterprise scale.

- Ability to work across IT Units, integrating technical and process challenges to arrive at business solutions to improve IT cost and quality effectiveness.

- Effective communications style with the ability influence Senior IT leaders and increase the awareness of the value of IT Service Management. This is a key role for driving change, by making what is possible to improve IT Service Delivery happen.
