I am seeking an interim for an initial 6 month contract with a view to an extension.The role is based in London and within a commissioning remit. Please see below a job spec.
- In depth knowledge of Acute Providers' Service level agreement (SLAM) data, including understanding of different PODs, currencies for each and how they relate to SUS data submissions
- Ability to comfortably interrogate SLAM and SUS data at very detailed level, carrying out reconciliation exercises between the two datasets at both POD and record level
- Experienced in carrying out Data Quality checks to verify SUS and SLAM data completeness and integrity of coding and costing
- Experienced in analysing reasons for over or under performance against Acute Contracted Plans for activity and cost
- Able to make sense of Acute datasets and draw meaningful conclusions, adjusting communication style and format of presentation when communicating findings to different audiences
- Experienced in responding to ad-hoc requests for data and analysis against Acute datasets (SLAM, SUS, additional local sets such as Referrals) from Finance and Contracting colleagues at CSU as well as external CCG customers
- Ability to carry out tasks at senior level, independently and with minimal supervision from line manager, whilst still adhering to team and organisational guidelines and standards of quality
- Works well under pressure and is comfortable managing conflicting priorities
- Comfortable in supervising more junior members of the team and ensuring overall team operational tasks are successfully carried out within deadlines
- Strong SQL and Excel reporting skills - we primarily use SQL Server Management Studio to manipulate and extract data and Excel based Power Pivot front ends to give users access to the data/reports
