Next Ventures are currently looking for a BI/Microstrategy Data analyst with strong Micro strategy skills, ETL, Gathering requirements -working for the business, responsible for running strategic extractions -so not an out an out BI Developer someone with core expertise working within the business and extracting Data.
Skills and experience:
Natural flair for IT and interest in adopting the newest technologies in BI area
Excellent collaborative and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and deliver to deadlines
Ability to work with complex data sets
High proficiency in both written and oral English is a must
Knowledge of MDX/DAX query language is a plus Collect, document and communicate business requirements
Sparring partner to the organization on future BI deliveries
Proactively identify and create future BI solutions/Reports in corporate BI tools.
Identify data quality issues and ensure handover to relevant departments
Plan and participate in User Acceptance tests (UAT)
Map and design new business processes surrounding new Business Intelligence deliveries in corporation with other departments
